LowDose™ Software Reduces Water/Energy Usage

When using LowDose™ Software:

1) Less affluent is produced.

 

LowDose™ Software reduces the overall quantity of affluent. This means less time and energy used to operate dewatering equipment and less sludge removal.

2) Filters need fewer backwashes. 

 

Thousands of gallons of water runs thru the filters every time they are flushed. A plant our software is running in had to flush their filters seven times per day, prior to the installation of LowDose™. They used 50,000 gallons of water for each flush. LowDose™ Software reduced this to only one to two flushes daily. Thus saving 250,000 to 300,000 gallons of water per day. They also save the energy used to run the equipment during each flush cycle.

3) Water plants use less coagulant.

 

Lower coagulant consumption at water plants means that chemical manufacturers must produce and ship less product. The chemical manufacturers will save both energy and fossil fuel.
